The Arya AI (“we”, “the app”) is a personal AI productivity assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your data.
1. Information we collect
Account: email, display name, a securely hashed password, and an optional WhatsApp phone number.
Your content: the goals, tasks, projects, notes, reminders and chat messages you create.
Usage logs: AI agent activity needed to operate and improve your assistant.
Notifications: a web-push subscription token if you enable browser/app notifications.
Optional integrations: if you connect Google Calendar, the tokens needed to sync your events.
2. How we use it
To provide the service — store and organise your goals, tasks and plans.
To generate AI responses: the text you send is processed by Anthropic (Claude API) to produce replies. It is not used to train models.
To deliver reminders via browser/app push and, if you opt in, via WhatsApp.
3. Sharing & third parties
We share data only with processors that run the service:
Anthropic — AI processing of your messages.
Browser push services (e.g. Google/Mozilla/Apple) — to deliver notifications.
WhatsApp / Meta — only if you enable WhatsApp messaging.
Google — only if you connect Google Calendar.
We never sell personal data or share it for advertising.
4. Storage & security
Data is stored on our private server; passwords are hashed; transport is encrypted over HTTPS. We retain your data until you delete it or your account.
4a. Google user data — Limited Use
When you connect Google Calendar, The Arya AI requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar scope so we can read your events (to schedule around them and generate summaries) and create new events (from tasks and meetings you ask Arya to book).
The Arya AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Purpose: Google Calendar data is used only to provide the features you explicitly requested — showing your day, scheduling meetings, and setting reminders.
No secondary use: we do not use, transfer, or store Google user data for advertising, resale, credit-worthiness, or any purpose other than the features above.
No AI training: Google user data is never used to train AI models, ours or any sub-processor's.
No human access to Google user data, except: (a) with your explicit consent for support you request, (b) for security investigations, or (c) to comply with law.
Storage: we store only the OAuth refresh/access tokens and your primary calendar id. Event details are fetched on demand from Google and shown to you; we do not warehouse them.
Revoke access any time in Settings → Integrations → Disconnect Google Calendar, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting deletes the tokens we hold.
5. Your rights & deleting your data
You can access and edit your data in the app, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from thearya.ai/delete-account (or in the app: Settings → Delete account).
6. Children
The Arya AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
